Automatic Gates Ltd offers a full range of small to large commercial high usage commercial & industrial automatic swing gate openers. Utilising both the GBD and FAAC range of operators - both world leaders in quality and innovative products, we have all the bases covered. All units come standard with internal locking in both open and closed positions (no need for mag clamps to assist locking) with keyed manual release facility in the event of power failure.
All units are controlled via fully expandable proven electronic systems which will easily integrate to existing access control/ alarm systems etc.

Unsurpassed in quietness, strength and reliability, the GBD Pass range has it all.
Operators range in size from our standard Pass 600 unit which will push up ton 600 kg of gate. Utilised in most low to medium applications particularly for light commercial and apartment type usage - through to the 1200 and 1800 models for heavy commercial & industrial applications, these units easily handle gates up to 1200 kg & 1800 kg respectively. All this and still utilising single phase power.

- Compact super quiet motor and irreversible worm drive gearbox, all fully enclosed in oil immerse housing.
- Solid alloy ‘mono block’ housing. (most other brands use a zinc cast ‘split type’ housing which are prone to oil leakage)
- Solid steel drive gear pinion. (most other brands use a moulded nylon type, prone to wear)
- Double disk steel oil immersed clutch for added safety.
- Front mounted easily accessible manual release mechanism in case of power failure (this brand features a proper ‘cut key’ to access while most other brands use a plain hex or square key which can compromise security)
- Magnetic reed limit switches for safe and precise stopping at end of gate travel to open and close positions. (Most other brands use mechanical limit switches which need lubricating frequently and are prone to corrosion and seizing)

When not only adequate power is needed to drive extra heavy gates, but also the need for quicker opening times, AUTOMATIC GATES LTD utilises the FAAC 844 unit. The units are a 3 phase version and yet only require a single phase input. This is achieved via a power inverter to give such benefits as ‘ramped’ start and ‘soft’ stopping, variable speed settings and the ability to create differential open/close speeds.
